Z75MZ key-operated magnetic mortise lock
Designed for interior wooden, PVC or aluminium doors. Magnetic mortise locks should not be used on steel doors due to the design of the lock and striker, which use magnets.
Magnetic mortise locks are universal locks for left and right-hand doors. In magnetic mortise locks, the latch (tongue) is automatically extended after the door is closed by the mutual attraction of magnets. The lock latch is locked (blocked) by turning a key.
Features of magnetic mortise locks
- the key-operated magnetic lock is easy to install, no need to change the position of the latch for right and left-hand doors,
- smooth and quiet operation of the lock, no friction between the latch and the lock striker,
- magnetic key locks have no protruding lock or striker elements,
- magnetic locks can replace most of the currently used mortise locks with a latch bolt,
- correct installation and operation guarantees a longer service life of the lock (min. 200,000 cycles).
Do not lock the lock when the door is open.
