Portuguese-style magnetic lock for room keys, stainless steel

A quiet magnetic lock from Metal-Bud, designed for use with room keys and intended for internal doors. The faceplate has an elegant stainless steel finish.

The lock’s dimensions and mounting holes are compatible with the most popular Portuguese magnetic lock on the market – Tupai – making it suitable for both new doors and refurbishment projects (lock replacement).

Basic dimensions:

- lock body spacing: 90 mm in the version with a room key lock

- bolt spacing: 50 mm (distance from the front of the lock to the handle pivot point).

The use of a magnetic lock in doors significantly improves their appearance – traditional components, such as the bolt and latch, are completely concealed when the door is open. Furthermore, magnetic locks reduce noise when opening and closing – they are quieter than standard mechanical locks.

The set includes:

• a magnetic lock in the room key version (1 pc.)
• key for locking/unlocking the lock (1 pc.)
• mounting fittings for the lock

Due to the design of magnetic locks, there is no distinction between right- and left-hand versions – the locks are universal.
